A video I forgot to upload showing the screen printing process. We should have recorded it all but time was against us! A good insight tho for those who have not screen printed before.

Thankyou!
We managed to raise nearly £300 for Teach a man to Fish! !
Thankyou to everyone who bought a t-shirt and helped this excellent cause. All of the money will go directly to help disadvantaged young people to get the education that they deserve, supporting the educational programmes in developing countries.
Thanks again!

Screen Printing near completion!
The final screen after being used. A more opaque ink and as you can see dried very quickly so we had to work like the clappers!
As time consuming as the preparation is...it all comes together when printing several shirts at once. Making sure they are printed efficiently to stop the ink from drying out.

Screen Printing is under way!
Fail to prepare...prepare to fail!
Although the preparation is fairly time consuming, it is well worth it when it comes to printing them and getting it right (or as close as we need with handmade products!)
Prepared to print! This is when I fully understood how screen printing works, and the wonders of single colour prints. Never mind! Live and learn.Tuesday, 14 December 2010

Teach a man to fish!
I am currently working on a competition brief, designing t-shirts for the charity 'teach a man to fish'. The name comes from the Chinese proverb:
"Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day.
Teach him how to fish and he'll eat for a lifetime".
The charity work mainly with schools in South America and Africa aiming to make them self sufficient, giving 'education that pays for itself'.
Please visit www.teachamantofish.org.uk
I will post my designs soon. The shirts will be screen printed and sold with all profits going to the chairty. So please give me your support soon!!
